If Willie got 60% then Shirley got 40% so 60 - 40 = 20%. Since Willie also got 24 more votes, then 24 = 20%. Since 100/20 = 5, then 5 x 24 = 120. Therefore, 120 people voted.

Willie won by 20% or 24 votes. in order to find 5% i divide 20 by 4 and so i do the same to 24 getting 6. then i multiply 6 by 20 as 5% x 20 is 100. 6x20 is 120. Therefore there are 120 voters
I'm not sure what happened because I already submitted mine but I got the same answer as everybody else 120 voters in total because 20% is 24 votes as that is the difference between the Shirley and Willie's votes. 24 * 5 = 120.

I know that 60% is 24, therefore 4 is 10% (24/6=4). 4x4 equals 40% which equals 16. Therefore, Shirley Cann had 16 votes.
